Zorya Models: Model Scouting Terms & Conditions (T&Cs)




These Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) govern the relationship between Zorya Models (“The Scout”) and the individual or entity (“The Talent”) engaging with our freelance model scouting services.

1. Introduction and Services


The Scout (Piotr Christopher of Zorya Models, operated by a UK-registered sole trader) offers specialised scouting services to help The Talent secure representation with recognized modelling agencies. The Scout is not a traditional model booking agency but acts as a finder and liaison for the Talent.

2. Eligibility and Conduct


  • Eligibility: The Talent confirms they are at least 18 years old or has provided written consent from a parent or legal guardian if under 18. Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
  • The talent must be open and agree to being submitted to recognised industry agencies and clients


3. Image Use and Content Rights


By submitting photos (digitals, polaroids, etc.) and content, The Talent grants The Scout permission to use these materials for the explicit purposes of:
  • Agency Submissions: Submitting materials to verified agencies, clients, and industry professionals for placement/representation.
  • Platform Promotion: Using materials for promotional purposes on Zorya Models' social media channels (e.g., Instagram, TikTok) and portfolio. 

Removal Requests: The Talent may request the removal of their images from The Scout's social media and marketing channels in writing at any time.


4. Fees and Commission (The Scout's Remuneration)



The Scout works on a commission basis only and never charges The Talent any upfront fees for scouting, photography, or submission services.

  • Placement Fee: If The Talent is signed, booked, or confirmed for any paid opportunity as a direct result of The Scout’s introduction, The Scout is entitled to a pre-agreed fee. This fee is typically a one-time payment or a commission on the Talent's first paid booking or first-year earnings (e.g., 10-15%). 
  • Payment Responsibility: This fee is not the financial responsibility of The Talent. It is payable by the signing agency or client and must be settled within 14 days of the agreement or invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Late Payment: Late payments by the client or agency may incur a 5% monthly fee.


5. Termination and Survival



  • Termination: Either party may terminate this relationship in writing at any time.
  • Survival Clause: If The Talent is placed or signed by an agency or client as a result of The Scout’s efforts before or after the date of termination, the scouting fee outlined in Clause 4 still applies and must be honoured by the agency/client.


6. No Guarantee and Limitation of Liability




The Scout commits to providing professional advice, support, and submission services to the best of their ability. However, The Scout cannot guarantee agency representation, paid work, or career success, as these outcomes are determined by third-party decisions. The Scout accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or missed opportunity resulting from third-party actions.


7. Governing Law




These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales
